Anyway, today I was pondering on how sad it is that you rarely appreciate your siblings until you're all grown up and living away from eachother. Or maybe that's the reason that you begin to appreciate them. At any rate - anyone who has sisters knows what a pain it is to live far from them. Thank goodness for cellphones so I can call any one of these 3 Tuesday morning to discuss what happened on the Bachelor.
The exciting news is that Mandy and her family are coming to visit us next week and David & I are thrilled. I'm pretty sure Dallas isn't on anyone in my family's top vacation destination but I'm grateful they'll make the trek out here (for a 2nd time) just to see us. We wont dissapoint, I promise.
In a perfect world we'd all have houses down the street from Mom & Dad's in Midway. So this was my shout out to my 3 favorite girls even though one of them pretends not to read these silly blogs.

I know what you mean. I have always loved my sister and family but it wasn't until they moved away, and I did too that I really began to appreciate them. Now I am doing everything in my power, which isn't much, to move closer to at least two of them. Hopefully we will know soon.
As someone who also lives far away from family, there is nothing I appreciate more than when people make the effort to come visit.
Sam, we can't wait to see you! It will be so fun! And, we expect you to make many treks to our house when your husband has finally won back his freedom by graduating. We'll see you Thursday night! Oh, and Cally has admitted to me that she does check out our blogs every once in a while.
So true, it takes moving away to appreciate your sisters, sad! When we were little and we got in a fight, my mom used to make us say "My sister is my best friend." How right she was! Y'all look so alike, too! All you blondies!
oh, now I want my sisters!
Sammy I love you. You're such a great example!!
I hear you. I can't believe how much you guys all look alike. So beautiful!
