I would post...

something new or exciting but I'm basically obsessed with the quiet book I'm working on for the kids. I'm about half way done. This is what I've done so far. A lot still needs to actually be sewn down. And I'm missing a shoelace for that poor little shoe. Don't tell David but he may find this winter that one of his shoelaces is missing. It's also times like these that I'm so grateful I'm not a perfectionist. Some things just have to get done whether or not they came out exactly how I had envisioned.
But in a nut shell basically everything comes off or moves. The brown garage holds a little car to ride the road. The mailbox opens and can hold a letter and the flag goes up and down. The gumballs come on and off. The rocket goes up on the string. The apples come off and go in the basket. The train chugs up the mountain. The counting beads can move from side to side.
Can you see why I'm losing sleep thinking about the other pages I want to do - I can't wait for Ashton to actually see this on Sundays and ONLY Sundays during Sacrament meeting.... and I suppose if it works we'll bring it on the plane with us this summer.
