David & I decided this year that we weren't doing gifts for birthdays or mother/father's day since we're poor. I'm pretty proud of us for sticking it to it. But at the very least I thought he could have his very own post for Father's day since I didn't do one for his birthday.
Sometimes I feel like I get all the credit for this whole parenting deal. There's no doubt that I'm the one growing the babies and staying home with them all day but there is so much more to it than that. It is a big deal that David loves kids and wants a big family. But when you think about the fact that I've been pregnant or nursing for all but 8 months of our 4 year marriage (with no end in sight) this man deserves a gold medal in husbanding. He always makes sure I get enough sleep, take my vitamins, eat (atleast some of) my vegetables etc. to take care of the babies I'm growing or feeding.
He has more fun with the kids in the first 30 minutes he's home from school than I do pretty much the whole day.
