With our tax return we went to Ikea to buy the cheapest table that would seat 8-10. It is also black... (hence the need I feel for some color!) Hannah helped assemble it.

And as if I didn't have enough home improvement projects going on I decided that my glider (that was free) needed to be reupholstered.
The girls were amused that I was ripping off fabric..

And this is what I found in the living room the other day. How can you not look at this and think I need at least a few more of these little ones around... I think I had that train of thought when I told David we need a table that seats at least 8.

Life is good!

YES DAVID THE ENTERTAINMENT CENTER SHOULD BE BLUE! Everything looks great and I can't wait to see the final result.....especially the re-upholstery! You will have to teach me. I don't know how you do all of the things you do. You are seriously my hero.
I'd be scared to go blue but if Bree says it should be then by all means, I would never fight her opinion!
so with all this talk of your cute kids... just let me know when #4 is on the way, you know it will be sooner then you think!
I am teetering on the edge of the yest for blue. Although I am in the market for an entry way table and saw a robin egg/distressed with a little black in it table the other day and FELL in love. So I say go for it you can always paint it.
Can't wait to see the afters...oh and I just CHOPPED my hair off, at least 10 inches and I say DON'T DO IT. I MISS my LONG HAIR. But post pics anyway I am sure it will be super cute!
