2013 in Review

No babies were born in 2013 but it was definitely an eventful year for us.
Vacations
1. Visited TX twice, Midway twice and Wisconsin once.
2. Had the Hafens for 10 days here in April.
3. Went to Kansas City.
4. David and I's first over night date to STL without kids.
Work
1. David finished a 4 month exodontia course from Jan-April.
Kids
1. Ashton started kindergarten.
2. Both girls started preschool.
Home Life
1. We bought a new (to us) van.
Church
1. David was called into the Bishopric and I learned how to sit alone at church.
2. I was released from YW in Nov after two consecutive years in this ward and 3 years total with previous wards.
3. Called to Compassionate Service Leader (I know what you're thinking... I'm still thinking that) and volunteered to take on the Sunbeams class too.
My Stuff
1. I started back to school at BYUI online.
2. My friend Jeni and I came up with the goal to read 50 books this year. I'm happy to report I ended the year with 72 books logged. I owe that to my new obsession with the Regency era.
3. I finished the Book of Mormon on New Years Eve just as I had planned and am making it a life long goal to complete the Book of Mormon cover to cover every year.

It was a smooth year here at our house. We always remind ourselves to be as thankful to the Lord and prayerful during our smooth times as we are through the rough patches. We have loved 2013 and are looking forward to a new baby and a move in July of 2014 (we'll find out where we're going mid February).
