Spring Break

I was hoping to start this blog with a link to my new vinyl site that is up and running and oh so pretty. However, this week was David's spring break so instead of being super productive because I've had him home, quite the opposite happened. When David's home the house is messier, dinner is never made on time, and we spend a lot of time enjoying the non-routine of it all. I'm thrilled to say that Ashton has been binky free for 2 weeks now. The first 3 nights were long but once he accepted they weren't coming back he stopped asking for "the lady at Taks(Target)" with whom he traded his stash for Thomas the Train. Naps are a whole different story but he was fighting those before the farewell of the binky so we don't place blame. Next task: finish potty training. I'm sure you're all dying to hear about that one.
We've been taking full advantage of the neighborhood; taking the kids for lots of walks (even when it's freezing) and going to the park almost everyday. We flew kites the other day. We bought them when we first got married and have faithfully moved them from place to place (4x) hoping they would make it out of their package sooner or later. Don't tell but David almost cried when Ashton got his $2 Donatello kite stuck in the tree (I didn't almost cry, but yes, I was very bummed). Apparently Donatello is the best and well, the Ninja Turtles are sacred even if it's just their face on a sheet of plastic.

We took the kids to the zoo before our pass expires this month. Ashton asked David to get on the Zebra and as you can see he didn't have to ask twice. Who wouldn't want this big kid for a Dad??

And yesterday I prayed all my dreams would come true at the WheelMobile event in Dallas. Here's a picture with the Vana cut out and Heidi the traveling Vana.
I told David I'm not sure if I would want to be on the show to win money or just to meet Pat and Vana because I'm obsessed with them. I didn't get on stage, my odds weren't great seeing that more than 8,000 people showed up. Someday...
And as you can clearly see my stomach has just decided this past week that it no longer cares to hold the baby in as much as it wants to be out. At least I have the new excuse that this is number three. I better bust out the maternity clothes.

I can't believe you went to the Wheel of Fortune try outs, that's awesome. Too bad you didn't make it. Oh and you don't look prego at all. I'm glad you guys had fun with David home.

I'm glad you had a great spring break. Lance's is this week, so we will be following in your footsteps to the zoo. Maybe the kite thing too. Thanks for the idea. You look great btw!!! See you Saturday!!

Wheel of Fortune? Really? I didn't even think it was still on. Hehehe...you crack me up.

That pic of Hannah in the stroller looks just like you!

And I am the same way with the house when Josh is home. Cleaning takes a back seat for a while.
