Our summer vacations in Midway make me wish I could go back and be 4 years old again. Tons of cousins running around, perfect weather, an enormous backyard with soft Utah grass, scooter rides, shaved ice, the Timp freeze, Daisy (my Mom's ranger) a 6 foot tall blow up double water slide. But as a 27 year old I still thought it was basically paradise. Even David went on the kiddie slide without popping it.
This year we did an Ashton olympics. One e-mail out to my siblings and we had a full on show. Jake and Susie brought up huge speakers and planned out the opening ceremonies complete with a torch and walking in with the flag.
They even brought accessories for all the kids to hold and wave.
There's my little olympian.

It was so funny every time the kids completed an event all the grown men had to try. Here's Jake trying to get over the rope.

WOW. Ashton is sure starting to look like Dave! You can still see so much of you in him, but that's always been there :)
