Confessions

  • Both of the kids have colds this week. I'm a 100% sure it's because I let Ashton outside to play in the rain 3 time for atleast an hour each while it was pouring last week. Hannah got it from him and the rest is history.
  • I don't find anything apealing about eating organic and paying 50% more for something unless I'm a 100% positive it actually is organic (meaning I grew it by myself). Needless to say, I'm not buying this whole organic kick and those gross looking bananas in the store.
  • I only fed Ashton the baby friendly yo baby yogurt. Hannah has never tasted the stuff - she lives strictly on Gogurts.
  • I've spent over $100 since Christmas in extras/fabrics for my sewing machine. I'm going to have to take a leave of absence from crafting until my birthday.
  • I woke up one morning last week and told David I couldn't live another day without Fox News (their website was not cutting it for me). He called me crazy and told me I had to sell atleast $30 of vinyl every month to pay for our cable bill. He understands I'm irrational sometimes and we now have cable.
  • I'm convinced I can help my children grow out of their mild allergies. Hannah breaks out a little bit everytime I give her some honey nut cheerios - I still give them to her. The same thing used to happen with Ashton when he drank real milk or ate peanut butter. I kept giving them to him and small bits and within a couple of months he was over it.
  • On my Dallas Mom's Board there is a co-op going on for little name bracelets for sippy cups. I see the use for playdates and such but in my own home it's a free for all for drinks (including mind and David's).
  • Ashton only drinks chocolate milk now. We put a little nesquick and have decided that is not a battle we want to fight.

Whew I think that's everything for this week. Don't you all feel like better parents now?

I'm sure my list would be much longer if I were a mother! You are doing fine. I wish I knew how to fix your door...
